AEG Facilities' Mercedes-Benz Arena, The Home Depot Center and Ulker Sports Arena selected as finalists for the International 2012 Stadium Business Awards

LOS ANGELES, CA (Tuesday, April 10, 2012) – The nominations for the 2012 Stadium Business Awards have been announced and three of AEG Facilities' venues, along with two AEG executives have been selected as finalists, including Shanghai's Mercedes-Benz Arena, up for the Venue of the Year.
Other AEG Facilities' venues nominated include The Home Depot Center in Los Angeles, Calif., nominated for the Sustainability Award and the recently opened Ulker Sports Arena in Istanbul for the New Venue Award.

In its third year, The Stadium Business Awards recognize a wide spectrum of achievements from across the global stadium industry, including venues and events of the year, as well as executives. Other AEG nominees include STAPLES Center Senior Vice President and General Manager Lee Zeidman, nominated for Executive of the Year and Steve Brice, Vice President of Premium Seating from AEG Europe, nominated in the Team Player of the Year category.
