AEG Selects Aramark Sports and Entertainment for The Home Depot Center
AEG has selected ARAMARK Sports and Entertainment as the exclusive food and beverage operators for The Home Depot Center, it was announced by Timothy J. Leiweke, President of AEG, developers of the 85-acre / $130 million sports complex currently under construction.
Under the 10-year agreement, ARAMARK will manage all food and beverage services within The Home Depot Center including concessions, suite catering, special event hospitality and catering as well as the management of a 12,000 square foot stadium club restaurant.
Set to open in June, 2003, the complex features a 27,000-seat soccer stadium which will serve as the new home of the MLS Los Angeles Galaxy and other world class soccer events, a 13,000-seat tennis stadium, a velodrome, a track & field stadium and facilities for inline roller hockey, baseball, softball and basketball. In addition, the unique \"sports campus\" will serve as the new home of the U.S. Soccer Federation and the Pete Sampras Tennis Academy.
