Dignity Health Sports Park to host Chivas Guadalajara vs. Club Leon on October 12
Dignity Health Sports Park announced today that the venue will host a match between Chivas de Guadalajara and Club León in a Liga MX exhibition match on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 5:00 p.m. PT, presented by Latin Entertainment and El Girasol Promoción.
Tickets for the Chivas Guadalajara – Club Leon match, which start at $35, will go on sale to the general public on Friday, Aug. 9 at 10:00 a.m. PT and can be purchased online via www.dignityhealthsportspark.com and www.axs.com, at the Dignity Health Sports Park box office or by calling 1.877.3GALAXY (342.5299).
An exclusive presale for American Express card holders will go on sale this Wednesday, Aug. 7 at 10 a.m. PT. LA Galaxy Season Ticket Members will be able to purchase tickets for the match during an exclusive presale starting Thursday, Aug. 8 at 10 a.m. PT via www.axs.com with a code.
Chivas, who play in Liga MX, is one of the winningest teams Mexican soccer history, with 12 league titles, four Cup titles and a CONCACAF Championship. The only club in Mexico to exclusively field Mexican players, is managed by Mexican manager Tomas Boy. Chivas is led by a lineup of standout players, including Alan Pulido, Oribe Peralta, Hiram Mier and Antonio Briseño.
Club León, the seven-time Liga MX champion, are managed by Mexican head coach Ignacio Ambríz and feature a roster that includes players like Mexican national team midfielder Luis Montes, Costa Rican forward Joel Campbell, and U.S. international goalkeeper William Yarbrough.
The last time that Chivas and Leon faced off at Dignity Health Sports Park was in March 2017 in front of a sold-out crowd as Chivas Guadalajara topped Leon 2-0 in Carson, California.
