Home Depot Center Stadium Club Televises UEFA Champions League Soccer

The Home Depot Center Stadium Club, now open to the public weekdays for lunch, will show 2004 UEFA Champions League soccer matches on Wednesdays.

The televised Champions League matches will begin at 11:45 a.m. on Wednesdays at The Stadium Club, where fans can watch their favorite European teams play on television and dine at the facility's VIP restaurant, The Stadium Club.  There is no charge to the public to watch the matches, and a full lunch menu is offered daily starting at 11:00 a.m. 

 \"Offering Champions League games during lunch is another way The Home Depot Center is reaching out to the Southern California soccer community,\" says Bill Peterson, managing director of The Home Depot Center.  \"As we open our doors daily to the public, we wanted to be sure we target the ultimate soccer fan in everything we do.  This is a great place to come during the day to see the facility, have a great meal and see some of the best soccer in the world on television.\"

The 10,000-sq. ft. Stadium Club restaurant, which sits atop the Soccer Stadium at The Home Depot Center, opened in summer, 2003 to the public for lunch.  The Stadium Club is the VIP restaurant open only to VIP guests, suite and club seat-ticket holders for all Home Depot Center events.  The Stadium Club also hosts private parties on non-event nights.

Also on Wednesdays, Soccer Weekly will broadcast radio show \"Big Soccer Wednesday,\" live from The Stadium Club, from 10:00 a.m. to noon.  \"Big Soccer Wednesday\" is a nationally radio show syndicated on the Sports Byline USA radio network and is available on the Internet at WorldSoccerWeekly.com and bigsoccer.com.  Beginning on March 22, the show will be available to 12 million cable subscribers on the Cable Radio Networks.
