LA Galaxy II set to face Cal State Fullerton at StubHub Center
CARSON, Calif. (Monday, Feb. 1, 2016) – The LA Galaxy II will continue preseason training this week and cap it with their first squad exhibition on Friday against Cal State Fullerton at StubHub Center (Field 6) on Friday at 10:00 a.m.
Over the weekend, Los Dos’ top goal scorer from 2015, Ariel Lassiter, was called up to make an appearance in the first team’s 2-1 preseason exhibition win over FC Shirak. Lassiter subbed on in the 76th minute.
On Thursday, Galaxy II announced the resigning of defender Bradley Diallo. Diallo made 20 appearances in 16 starts for Los Dos last season. He has represented Galaxy II since 2014, the club’s inaugural year.
Also in Galaxy II news, USL announced the 2016 regular season schedule last Tuesday. Los Dos will participate in 30 regular season fixtures and will kick off its campaign for its third consecutive playoff berth on Saturday, March 26 against Arizona United SC at StubHub Center at 7:30 p.m. For a full schedule, visit www.lagalaxy.com/schedule/2.
