SEVENTH ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT TO BE HELD AT THE HOME DEPOT CENTER ON FRIDAY
CARSON, Calif. (Thursday, March 28, 2013) – The LA Galaxy Foundation and The Home Depot Center Charitable Foundation will host the Seventh Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Friday afternoon. The Easter Egg Hunt, which will be held on the Track and Field Stadium at The Home Depot Center, will begin at 1 p.m. with more than 600 local children ages 1-10 participating. Current Galaxy players Bryan Gaul, Kofi Opare, Kenney Walker and Gyasi Zardes will be in attendance along with the Galaxy Street Team, LA Galaxy Star Squad while the Southbay Pavilion Mall will provide the Easter Bunny.
Food will be available at the event from The Grilled Cheese Truck while Inside the Scoops will provide ice cream. Activities include music from KOST FM, arts and crafts, a visit from the LA County Fire Department – Engine Co. 116 fire truck, MB Landscaping & Pot Planting, and the Wildlife Learning Center. Candy and prizes will be provided by Nestlé USA and Snookies Cookies for children in each age group. Additionally, California Pizza Kitchen will be donating 500 Free Kids Meal Certificates to the first 500 children that arrive at the event.
