StubHub Center to Host 2018 ICC Match Between AC Milan and Manchester United July 25
LOS ANGELES (Friday, June 15, 2018) – Relevent, a multi-national media, sports and entertainment group, today announced that the 2018 International Champions Cup presented by Heineken (ICC) will return to StubHub Center for a match between Manchester United and AC Milan on July 25 at 8 p.m. PT. The match, originally scheduled to be played at the Rose Bowl Stadium, will be held as the 2018 ICC takes over Los Angeles July 19-29 with a celebration of soccer as four of the world’s top teams – AC Milan, Manchester United, FC Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur – meet in Los Angeles in their quest for the International Champions Cup while fans connect with the game at all levels through local events and activities.
Pre-sale tickets for the match at StubHub Center begin Wednesday, June 20 with the public on-sale beginning Friday, June 22. Those who purchased tickets to the original venue will have their tickets refunded and have first access to the pre-sale. All fans that purchased tickets for the original game at the Rose Bowl will also receive communication directly to facilitate refunds and provide additional information. Wrapping up the LA soccer celebration will be the FC Barcelona v Tottenham Hotspur match at Rose Bowl Stadium on Saturday, July 28. Tickets are still available and can be purchased on the ICC website. Ahead of the FC Barcelona v Tottenham Hotspur match, fans will have access to a Tottenham Open Training session on July 27 at StubHub Center. Additional information will be announced in the coming days.
A week of festivities begins with House of Soccer, a fun and engaging way of experiencing this global soccer event. Taking place on July 19, House of Soccer will feature a U16 5v5 tournament and a celebrity 5v5 match. Attendees will also experience a screen printing workshop with a famed street artist, an ICC exhibit showcasing the evolution of the tournament from its inception, and a soccer salon where consumers can receive legendary soccer hairstyles, club inspired manicures and custom temporary tattoos.
