CARSON, CALIF. (Friday, July 31, 2015) – StubHub Center announced today that the venue will host a match between Chivas Guadalajara and Club León in a friendly at StubHub Center on Saturday, September 5 at 7:30 p.m. PT.

Tickets for the Chivas – Club Leon match will go on sale to the general public today at 12:00 p.m. PT and can be purchased online viawww.axs.com, at the StubHub Center box office or by clicking here. Tickets start at $35.

Chivas, the only club in Mexico to exclusively field Mexican players, has captured 11 first division titles and has raised two Copa México trophies. The Mexican club is managed by head coach Jose Manuel “Chepo” de la Torre. Chivas is led by a lineup of standout players, including veteran forward Omar Bravo, 2012 Olympic gold medalists Jorge Enriquez, Antonio Rodriguez, Marco Fabian and Carlos Salcido, and FIFA U-17 World Cup champion Carlos Fierro. Guadalajara will also be joined by recently signed defender Oswaldo Alanis as he joins the squad from Santos Laguna after helping the Mexican National Team take home the Gold Cup trophy this summer.

Club León, the seven time Liga MX champion, recently acquired U.S. Men’s National Team midfielder Miguel Ibarra from NASL’s Minnesota United. The roster will also feature recently signed American goalkeeper William Yarbrough, who has been on loan with the club since 2012. Under the direction of head coach Juan Pizzi, Club Leon kicked off their 2015 Liga MX Torneo Apertura season with a 3-1 road win over defending champion Santos Laguna on Saturday, July 25.
