UCLA TO HOLD SPRING SHOWCASE AT STUBHUB CENTER
CARSON, CALIF. (Wednesday, March 26) – UCLA Football will hold its annual Spring Showcase at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif., it was announced today. The Showcase, which begins at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, will air on the Pac-12 Network. Gates open at 3:00 p.m.
Tickets to the Showcase are $5 if purchased in advance and are $10 day of event. UCLA students as well as children two years of age or under will receive free admission. Tickets may be ordered online by visiting www.stubhubcenter.com or by calling (310) UCLA-WIN.
The Bruins are coming off a convincing 42-12 victory over Virginia Tech at the Sun Bowl and a school-record tying 10-win season in 2013. Head coach Jim Mora’s squad returns Heisman Trophy candidate Brett Hundley behind center, the first-ever Pac-12 Offensive/Defensive Freshman of the Year in Myles Jack, six players that earned Freshman All-American honors and 15 All-Pac-12 performers.
After finishing the 2013 campaign ranked 16th in the country, early polls place UCLA in the top-10 to start the 2014 season. The season opener is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 30, against Virginia in Charlottesville.
