Project Summary
Dignity Health Sports Park is home to the six-time MLS Cup Champion LA Galaxy and has hosted the MLS Cup seven times, more than double any other stadium in the country. Since opening on June 1, 2003, Dignity Health Sports Park has hosted some of the best national and international competitions in the world and will also play host to rugby, modern pentathlon, tennis, track cycling and field hockey for LA28, the 2028 Summer Olympics.
The LA Galaxy and Dignity Health Sports Park utilized fan feedback to inform decision-making around the stadium renovations in 2024-2025 resulting in the highest quality guest experience at LA Galaxy games, concerts, and events.
Enhancements to Dignity Health Sports Park include:

New flip down seats throughout the seating bowl to replace bench seating

Refreshed concession areas inclusive of updated menus and food options

A refreshed press box

Renovated restrooms throughout the soccer stadium

The addition of permanent open-air and semi-private cabanas on the West Terrace, and a shared hospitality cabana on the East Terrace

New flip-down mesh seating at midfield on the home side to provide more comfort and breathability for premium ticket holders

A refreshed American Express Stadium Club and entryway

The addition of permanent field side seating on the west sideline

New permanent player benches on the west sideline

Full field renovation including drainage system, irrigation system, and replacement of sod and flank edges of artificial turf

Global design firm, Gensler provided framework and direction to inform the updated coastal design elements of Dignity Health Sports Park.

Shawmut Construction lead and executed the installation of the premium seating, restroom renovations, cabanas, and stadium club entryway.

Code Four and BF Construction contributed the vision, design, and execution of the stadium concourse refresh, inclusive of concession stand refacing.

Much of the stadium was outfitted with seats from Mobilario. Dignity Health Sports Park was the Mexico City-based company’s first U.S. main stadium install.

New mesh premium seats and player benches are a product of 4 Topps, a high-end mesh stadium seat provider.

Athletic Field Engineering (AFE) executed a full field renovation, inclusive of natural grass and artificial siding for the widest pitch in MLS.
The 21-year-old stadium will undergo a four-year upgrade plan (2024-2027), with the first phase completed in Feb. 2025.
